Medicare believes in prevention and proper shoes and protective inserts are the first line defense in preventing foot ulcers. If youare under a doctor’s care for management of your diabetes and meet other qualifying factors, you may be entitled to receive one pair of Therapeutic shoes and 3 pair of inserts per calendar year.
